We find the way of corresponding the scale of historical urban context to the site that has a certain amount of big volume in the subdivided historical urban context of Insadong, Samchungdong and Bukchon. Bukchon alleyways make various scenes and experiences. The ways and means of alleyways continue within the site. Small galleries, workshops and cafes spreading all over the alleyways that connects Insadong to Samchungdong.... we make this place as a museum that has no boundary between daily life and art. As an important part of whole project of National Museum of Contemporary Art at Seoul, Gimusa which is one of the few remaining traces of modern architecture in Seoul needs to be preserved for a long time, not just simply preserving the surface.
