PROJECT

Design Residential Housing
Guri Hangang Riverside Urban Development Project

The cities of the future will be shaped by data. Data must embrace diversity, with both online and offline spaces that allow different ideas to converge. Innovation can emerge from the complexity and interaction of data and ideas. Networks connect through technological integration, links with nature, and human communication, operated by A.I. for the benefit of people. Inspired by DNA—the genetic information that forms living organisms—we propose Guri DNA City, a smart city created through the convergence of DATA + NETWORK × A.I.

Smart City
The Smart City development concept aims to create a more livable city by addressing urban challenges such as employment, transportation, and the environment, while promoting the Korean New Deal. Along the city’s central Digital Green Band, key elements including A.I., bio, community hubs, and data-support complexes are introduced to foster convergence and innovation.

Smart technologies and urban spaces are optimized to create a city with convenient mobility, a safe environment free from crime, clean air and a healthy green environment, and a revitalized economy that generates quality jobs.

The paradigm of the future smart city differs fundamentally from that of the past. As shown in the aerial view, the city is evolving from a planar, single-use model into a three-dimensional, mixed-use and interconnected city. We propose a sustainable and flexible urban model capable of responding to changes in time, economic structures, supply and demand, trends, and society.
