The project proposes TRIPLE UNION, a vision centered on promoting citizens’ health, revitalizing the local economy, and nurturing outstanding athletes while expanding public participation in sports.

The first focus is PUBLIC. An ice rink, swimming pool, and gymnasium are brought together in one complex to enrich opportunities for Suwon citizens to enjoy sports and leisure.

The second is DYNAMIC. The building’s form creatively incorporates the beautiful curves and traditional patterns of Suwon Hwaseong, creating a new city symbol. A Sports Street inside the complex organically connects the various sports facilities.

The third focus is HARMONY. Integrated with Gwanggyo Lake Park, the stadium’s skyline responds to the terrain, creating a form embraced naturally by the landscape. By maximizing the preservation of the existing park’s topography and vegetation, the project creates a cultural landmark for Suwon in harmony with nature.
