Open Spaces for Shared Use
The main theme of the Jamsil 5 Complex project is to create a sustainable urban neighborhood that can be shared not only by local residents but also by citizens from the surrounding area through redevelopment. To establish an urban landscape with views toward the Han River, a pedestrian axis and linear park connecting Seokchon Lake to the Han River were planned to provide open spaces. In addition, an urban arcade offers publicly accessible spaces for citizens, while residents can enjoy community spaces centered around their needs.
A New Landmark, Jamsil Complex
The newly redeveloped Jamsil 5 Complex incorporates “A Thousand Courtyards,” a concept designed to actively respond to the changing needs of future residential communities and accommodate diverse forms of community life. The project also aims to realize 100-Year Housing, drawing on the firm’s expertise and related patents developed through long-life housing research.
The residential buildings along the roads are planned to rise to 50 stories, creating a gradually ascending skyline from the Han River toward the 123-story Lotte World Tower. This distinctive skyline is intended to enhance the urban environment and establish a new landmark for Jamsil.
