PROJECT

Design Residential Housing
Incheon Geomdan AA35-1, 2BL: Forest of Sharing

Located at the entrance to Incheon's Geomdan District, Blocks 1 and 2 were announced as Happy Housing and long-term rental housing, respectively. Designed for long-lasting durability, the buildings were planned using rahmen and LHSP structural systems, with block-specific planning, façade design, and flexible unit layouts as key considerations shaped by the project's characteristics and urban context.

Under the theme "Forest of Sharing," the project brings the city's context into the street to connect with the local community, forming an eco-friendly landmark village unified by a shared forest built on natural ground and a green integrated street. Block 1 features a "Green Work Platform" linked to the mixed-use street, hosting a specialized job-connected community, while Block 2, as senior welfare housing, forms a pedestrian community with a social welfare center and the low-rise residential complex to the south, creating a space for diverse interaction.

Each block is organically connected to the large open "Forest of Sharing" and community spaces, proposing a unified village where everyone can experience eco-friendly landscaped space on natural ground.
