The·Nexus·Stream [Connection · Flow]

A connected cluster and continuous flow at the heart of the Songam Cultural Content Valley.

This project aims to provide production support and promotion for small-scale creators at the forefront of the media industry working with advanced immersive content. As such, it embodies the identity of media communication itself.

To express this identity, linear flows are layered onto the façade connecting the programs of two buildings, projecting the concept of Nexus·Stream, representing connection and a media wall. The Stream serves as a central connection node at the heart of the Songam Cultural Content Valley, while combining with a spiral courtyard that encourages real-time interaction among users. Together, they form the signature image and architectural device of the cluster, whose motto is Convergence.

Circulation Planning for Real-Time Interaction among Media Creators

The key issue for the “cells” dedicated to immersive media content is facilitating contact, face-to-face interaction, and communication among creators through diverse routes. Architectural solutions—including central and secondary outdoor spaces, vertical connections between lower floors, and a link between the two buildings—create effective points for gathering, interaction, and dispersal to occur in real time.

The resulting synergy breaks down the boundaries between academia and industry, ultimately generating an energy of unrestricted convergence.
