This project realizes urban regeneration in Sammun-dong, Miryang-si by creating a dedicated space for the transmission of intangible cultural heritage and cultural exchange among local residents. The facility is planned as an integrated cultural and educational complex that combines exhibition, hands-on experience, and educational functions. Given the diverse range of functional spaces—including a history hall, exhibition galleries, and experience facilities—it is important to review the performance requirements specific to each space, such as acoustic conditions in performance areas and the flexibility of exhibition spaces, and to establish appropriate management standards in advance. In particular, to ensure the quality and integrity of the distinctive exterior design featuring long brick tiles and blocks, proactive measures are required to prevent major defects such as tile detachment and discoloration. A high level of construction precision is also essential to achieve the intended linear exterior form. Furthermore, given the constrained construction conditions within the existing urban area and the planned use of adjacent sites, the project requires a comprehensive construction management strategy to effectively coordinate construction plans and schedule interfaces among interconnected facilities.
