Yeongam Bandabi Sports Center

This project involves the development of a landmark sports center designed to address gaps in sports facilities for people with disabilities and to accommodate a wide range of sports, including boccia and volleyball, in connection with existing sports facilities. As the facility will be used by both people with and without disabilities, meticulous verification and implementation of the Barrier-Free (BF) design are essential. In addition, proactive quality management is required to prevent major defects, such as flooring-related issues, and to ensure a high level of construction precision for sloped and long-span structures and various finishing materials. Furthermore, considering the various events and users at the Yeongam Sports Complex, a comprehensive construction operation plan is required to minimize disruption to ongoing activities. At the same time, effective schedule management is essential to respond to the tight construction period. Accordingly, the project requires a multifaceted construction management strategy that comprehensively addresses quality, safety, and schedule management.
