Jeollanam-do Regional Specialty Fruit Support Center

This project involves the development of a support center for the research, demonstration, and technology dissemination of regionally specialized subtropical fruit crops, including mangoes and bananas, in response to Jeonnam's shifting subtropical climate. Given the purpose and functions of the research facility, it is essential to establish an optimal research environment that meets its specific requirements. Accordingly, the performance of MEP systems—including HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, and fire protection—must be verified based on the specific requirements of each laboratory, and interfaces between research equipment and architectural and building systems must be coordinated in advance, in order to secure a stable and reliable research environment. Furthermore, comprehensive construction management is required to ensure the quality and safety of foundation works in response to soft ground conditions, while proactively managing the schedule to address potential delays in construction commencement and the overall project timeline arising from permitting issues during the detailed design stage.
