This project involves the development of 120 public rental housing units in the Yeosu Gukdong District, featuring enhanced residential performance, living convenience, and dedicated workspaces to promote housing stability and social welfare for lower-income households. Located in the Gejang-geori (marinated crab restaurant street) area of Bongsan-dong, the project site is surrounded on all four sides by existing commercial and lodging facilities and is subject to constrained site conditions. Accordingly, systematic management of urban construction risks—including interference with adjacent facilities, noise, and vibration—is essential. Furthermore, given the site's proximity to Gukdong Port and its semi-marine exposure conditions, careful management is required for underground and foundation works to address the high groundwater level, as well as for structural works to minimize the risk of salt-related deterioration.
In addition, as five small-unit types across the 31 m², 41 m², and 51 m² unit sizes are to be constructed repeatedly, proactive management of interfaces among trades and the five major defect categories is essential to protect the owner's interests while ensuring occupant satisfaction.
