To lessen the stiff image of army apartments, the apartments were arranged in a streamline shape, resembling the ripples of the nearby Euiam Lake, to enhance the lighting and allow greater view of the lake. An underpass was introduced to link to the central plaza, and near the lake, the Hoban Festival Courtyard was created as well as the Imho Park, to increase the pleasantness of the residential area.
