These three key words are materialized by the radial building arrangement, where each facility has its own independent domain for its specific purpose while being effectively connected with each other through the common facility at the center, and the natural wind and light from the surrounding mountains and the ocean flow between the buildings.
Walls of each building was designed with the motif of stone walls unique to the Island, which symbolizes the graceful image of the National Tax Service. Granite and Jeju stone were used as the main materials so as to ensure unity, and walls of each building were differentiated depending on the function and direction of the facility.
All of the facilities satisfy the 1st grade energy efficiency standard. The Main Building received the ‘Top Excellence’ grade nature-friendliness certification, while the offices and dormitories received the ‘Excellence’grade.
